Thread, not ink

A print sits on top of the fabric and fades with every wash. Embroidery is thread pulled through 100% organic cotton, no polyester anywhere in the garment.

The stitches keep their color and relief for years. That is the whole reason we sew instead of printing.

What we make

Starting prices include the garment and one small embroidery. Photo and text prices depend on the design area; the configurator shows the exact total before ordering.

Quantity discounts on additional embroideries on the same garment: 3+ designs: 5% off · 4+ designs: 10% off · 5+ designs: 30% off. The lowest-priced embroidery is charged in full.

Questions people ask

How does the preview work?

Upload one photo and we generate a picture of your actual garment with the embroidery on it, usually in about a minute. What you approve is what the shop stitches.

What if I don't like the preview?

You get 10 free previews. If you need another attempt after that, contact us and we'll help you finish the design.

How long until it arrives?

Every piece is stitched to order: allow up to 8 business days before it ships, then 6-10 business days for US ground delivery. Orders of $79 and up ship free in the US.

What photos work best?

A sharp, well-lit photo where the subject fills the frame. For drawings, a flat photo of the paper in daylight. Skip blurry shots and photos of printed photos.

Will faces look exactly like the photo?

Embroidery is thread, not a photo print: faces come out as clean, simplified stitch portraits, and the smaller the design, the simpler the face. The preview shows exactly how yours will look before you decide.

Will it survive the wash?

Yes. Embroidery is thread through fabric, not ink on top of it. It keeps its color and shape wash after wash, which is why we stitch instead of print.

What is the garment itself?

Tees and caps in 100% organic cotton, no polyester. Tee $49, cap $39, one embroidery included; extra placements can be added in the configurator.

What if something's wrong with my order?

Personalized pieces can be returned if they arrive damaged: write to info@bewhoyouare.us within 30 days of delivery. That's also why you approve the preview first, so there are no surprises to return.
